Where do you begin to market your website on-line? Are you looking for local traffic
or national traffic. What is your catagory, tags or keywords ?
Follow the plan below, and step by step, your site will become successful.
We learned the hard way - so we could teach YOU the easy way. Start by joining each one of the sites below. We know you can grow a profitable online business as so many already have.
THE WEBSITE: If you don’t have one, or are an affiliate to someone elses website. You can always just do a places page on google or use a blog/capture page as long as it's all about you and relevant to your business.
EMAIL - G-MAIL ACCOUNT: I strongly suggest opening a g-mail account with Google. If you already have the email for your company you can forward your g-mail account to it in your dashboard.
GOOGLE: In your dash board of your g-mail account, you will find a menu across the top that offers Google maps, Google pages, and many other tools. Try to join all of them, as they're FREE! Google will walk you through everything. Newest is Google + for business, its just great and you can do so much more with it.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING OR FORUM MARKETING - FACEBOOK (gets 33 billion hits a month), TWITTER (is up to 26 million a day). Access them and link them to your website and/or blog a little everyday using there RSS Feed. Also useful are Google Express, and Yahoo Answer. Within 3 months I can honestly say, you will have around 600 visits to your blog, website, or splash capture pages. But in the mean time, and this is vital to building your relationships in business, you should meet people in person as well as get to know those on your social media lists. Spending an hour a day should be enough. By all means do not advertise just post your link in your profile/information area.
FREE CLASSIFIED – start with Craigslist, and post as many as you can. Just type "classified ads" in your Google search bar (look for free ones their). Don’t under estimate their power. Conversion can quickly grow with classified ads. Write short line ads with a phone number and email listing for contacts until you are prepared with a professional website and a great sales page.
Remember anything you sign up to will require IDs and passwords as well as confirmation emails. So be sure you have a working email account you can access. Most importantly, don’t get over whelmed if you receive an extreme amount of emails at this point. Take your time and read through and delete unwanted time consuming emails. You will quickly acquire a sense of the ones you want to open. Stay focused on YOUR program and website building.
CONTENT/ARTICLE MARKETING/PRESS RELEASES: Remember -content is the key, use your keywords as often as you can. After all, it is the World Wide Web - "content grows like a web". (Visit Stephen’s latest article here to read more about it.)
LIST BUILDERS – I suggest Traffic Wave . It's the best! This site offers list building – capture pages, and letters for your auto responder included (as many as you would like). Also free training is included.
EZINE ARTICLES/ Article Base – Just don’t forget you have to learn the correct way or your content for articles will never be published. So take the free training at each site seriously. You might want to read some of our published articles to get a sense of how to write for publication.
Now build your Website and post your link everywhere. Our phone numbers and email are available on your left of this site anytime.
Also you need to build a blog – and join other blogs for subscribers https://www.blogger.com/start. Link your blog to your website and discuss anything that you're good at and how-to do it.
VIDEO MARKETING, YOU-TUBE (gets over 96 billion hits every month) they can't even count the hits; between the sign ups and the visitors, it grows daily – Don't be too concerned with how you're going to make a video yet; you can comment on the videos you watch. That will drive some traffic to your blog or website. Be sure to sign the comment with your name and website link. Don't forget to target your keywords or Meta tags within your comments.
As you learn, you can out source a video through ifreelance.com (not too expensive), & Squidoo lens.com – This site is remarkable as well - especially to add content and higher rankings for your linked website and/ or blog.
PPC’s (pay per click)MARKETING/SEARCH ENGINES – With very high traffic. Before you try to use adwords or ppc’s anywhere, be sure to do your home work; you may find out ppc's are not worth it – Truly all you need is to get your word out with the right key tags and location and link your URL website to all your content and you will find your search engine results puts you on top of the page every time with your rankings high.
Be patient - time will tell! After three months of working this campaign you can check you sites quality at Grader.com.
PAY PER CLICK MARKETING PPC'S - Google adwords offers newbies $100.00 credit with $10.00 deposit, Yahoo Search Marketing offers $50.00 credit with $30.00 deposit. - Target is by meta tags or keywords. Do your research for the google keyword tools. It will tell you what your website is being found under just by typing your url.
COST PER CLICK MARKETING (CPC) – Myspace -(Myads) or Facebook Advertising. Targeted ads are by person, location, age, education and groups. Don’t forget to include your daily budget. It can cost you as much as the impressions (how many clicks you have) so watch them every day once they are set up. You do need a small pic for your ad, one that applies to your text in the advertisement (a logo or something).
